In its summer 2007 issue, the prestigious Hog River Journal will cover the Canterbury Historical Society’s restoration of the Green District School. An article entitled “Educated in One Room” will feature the Green School and eight other one-room schoolhouses in Connecticut, including photos.
Hog River Journal is a highly respected quarterly publication of the Hartford Public Library in collaboration with state cultural heritage and educational organizations. The summer issue arrives in mailboxes and retail outlets about June 1.
