The Prudence Crandall Museum is graciously partnering with us to present this temporary exhibit of selected material from the Canterbury Historical Society's archives. We are very grateful for the opportunity provided by this collaboration, because the society has no exhibit space of its own.
The show features items as varied as an old RR sign, stoves, and other products of Canterbury, along with many historical photographs.
Be sure to also check out the separate small exhibit of the society's Prudence Crandall artifacts, purchased off eBay in 2006, also on view at the museum.
Location: Prudence Crandall Museum, junction of Connecticut Routes 14 and 169, Canterbury, Connecticut
Dates: Opening on June 14, 2008, on view through December, during regular museum hours.
Free admission on opening day, June 14, Connecticut's annual Open House Day.
