Bluegrass Concert featuring David Peterson & 1946

David PetersonFresh from the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey*, the Canterbury Historical Society proudly presents David Peterson & 1946.

Though Dave makes his home in Nashville these days, he’s a native of southern New England–specifically, Easton, Massachusetts–and he’s excited about bringing his brand of super-traditional Bluegrass music back home. Join us for what promises to be an entertaining, lively afternoon of authentic Bluegrass music–the way it should be played!

Also appearing will be Connecticut’s own Bristol Boys, as well as local favorites Nick Anderson & Tall Grass.

Doors will open at 12:30 for pre-show jamming. Refreshments will be available. Sound by Country Corner Productions.

Tickets for this society fundraiser are priced as follows:

  • Early bird advance sales before November 1, 2007: $17 each, two for $30; kids 14 and younger $10
  • At the door: $20 each

  • Send a SASE and check (payable to "Canterbury Historical Society") to Canterbury Historical Society, P.O. Box 2, Canterbury, CT 06331
